For the first time, Advanced Software took part in Girls’ Day on April 28, 2022, giving a student at the Diltheyschule in Wiesbaden the opportunity to get a taste of the job of a software developer and the subject of web programming.
“We are pleased that we were able to give a girl the opportunity to gain an insight into the interesting professional environment,” said Joachim Binder, Managing Director of Advanced Software.
Girls’ Day has existed since 2002. Originally, this day was intended for girls to slip into more typically male jobs. Since 2011, boys have also been allowed to take part in the day, so they can slip into typical female jobs. This day is nationwide. But also in other countries such as B. Austria has had a Girls’ Day since 2014.
